Holly began working on her doctoral degree in the fall of 2012, seeking her PhD in Professional Studies in Education. She has completed her coursework and is currently engaged in her dissertation research on differentiated instruction for Deaf-parented interpreting students. She plans to graduate in the fall of 2017.
Advancing interpreter education, developing and maintaining higher professional standards, developing responsive curriculum and formalized educator preparation have been cornerstones of her studies.
This has been an exciting journey that will prepare Holly to advance her teaching and research in the field of ASL/English interpreting.
